Administrative Team
The administrative team in the Amherst County Commonwealth's Attorney's Office is responsible for efficiently and effectively managing the daily operations of the Commonwealth's Attorney's Office. This competent staff oversees all aspects of the office, big and small. They are the first stop for general information and are happy to serve the citizens of Amherst County.
Office Manager
Jenny Hunter
Jenny is a lifelong native of Amherst County. She graduated from Amherst County High School in 2003 and continued her education at Lynchburg College, graduating with a BA in Spanish in 2010. She has been with the Amherst County Commonwealth's Attorney Office since February of 2017.
Jenny oversees the running of the office and directly manages scheduling and events related to Circuit Court. She also occasionally serves as a paralegal during jury trials.

Erica Hudson
Erica Hudson is a native of the Lynchburg area. She graduated from Brookville High School in 2006 and is a certified Medical Assistant and Ophthalmic Assistant. She worked in the medical field until 2020, when she joined the Amherst Commonwealth's Attorney's Office. She loves the small office team environment and enjoys adding her skills to Team Amherst.
Erica oversees the events and scheduling of the General District Courts. She occasionally serves as a paralegal during jury trials, and she also serves as the collections clerk for unpaid fines.
